About Me:

While I was born and grew up in Philadelphia, I always wanted to live in the country- my dream came true, and have made my home in Lyme, NH since 1978. My husband Paul and I have a melded family including three adult children and four active little grandsons with whom we try to spend as much time as possible.

In addition to my involvement with yoga,as a Reiki Master, I practice, and sometimes teach Reiki, a form of therapeutic touch.  I see clients in my home and as a volunteer at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where I provide Reiki for pre-and post-surgical patients.

I also enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, walking with my two beautiful weimaraners, and traveling.

I have studied yoga regularly for over twenty years- my first class was actually at Boston University in 1970. In the later years of my career as an elementary school teacher, I made yoga a regular part of my students' curriculum, even involving my fifth and sixth graders in teaching yoga and mindfulness to kindergardeners. I also provided after school yoga classes for other teachers twice a week, and began teaching classes in Lyme several years before retiring as an elementary school teacher in 2008.
